Title Field ocean bottom nodes (OBNs) data recorded in the East China Sea in 2017
Creator Chao Li
Subject Seismic data
Publisher Xiukuan Zhao
Description A north–northwest-oriented OBN survey profile, with a total length of 32.6 km, was acquired in the East China Sea in 2017. The observation sites were located in the Xihu depression, with an average water depth of approximately 80 m. The OBN used was developed by the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The shared OBN data is seismic data of active source. An active source array of 5450 inch3 broadband (5–88 Hz) air guns was shot with an average interval of approximately 19 m and depth below the sea surface of approximately 7 m.
The first two field OBN data are in-line data (i.e., the shot line is over the OBN station) with 39 m spacing and 1 ms time step, and the third field OBN data are off-line data (i.e., the shot line is off the OBN station) with 19.5 m spacing and 1 ms time step.
The corresponding information of OBN data can be read in the trace headers of su file.
