The database contains 1494 original daily-resolution snowfall records from 1625 to 1907 (if there was snow on a particular day, then that day would be recorded). There are 1479 separate snowfall records (because some records with duplicate dates but different ID numbers are kept). In column 6, leap months were represented by the symbol asterisk. The 8th column stored the ID numbers (IDN). |
