Subject All-sky radar interferometry data, GNSS TEC

Description The GNSS data and all-sky radar data are from IONISE, and are archived at the Geophysics Center, National Earth System Science Data Center at BNOSE, IGGCAS (http://wdc.geophys.ac.cn/). TEC and the high-resolution rate of TEC index (HR-ROTI, computed for each 30-second interval and converted to the unit of TECu/min) were calculated. The HR-ROTI index could be used to indicate strong Es occurrences. Based on the TEC and HR-ROTI measurements, the statistical results for TID parameters and the separations between strong Es structures are obtained. The all-sky radar data obtained at Ledong (109.0°E, 18.4°N, dip Lat, 12.9°) with the pulse repetition frequency, range resolution, and sampled ranges are 430 Hz, 1.8 km, and 68.4-318.6 km, respectively, are used for neutral wind analysis and E region irregularities interferometry analysis. Through interferometry analysis the location for E region radar backscatter echoes and E region FAIs could be obtained. The variables named “ZON”, “MER” and “ALT” indicate the location of radar backscatter echoes in the zonal, meridional and altitudinal coordinates, respectively.
