Description To gain insights into the previously poorly-understood distribution of different olivine fabric types and geodynamic processes in the mantle wedge above a subducting continental slab, we apply the shear wave splitting technique to local S-waves, and combine the crustal anisotropy results using P‐to‐S conversions at the Moho, to investigate the spatial distribution of anisotropy using seismic data collected from 46 broadband stations under the China-Myanmar Geophysical Survey in the Myanmar Orogen (CMGSMO) project between 06/2016 and 01/2018. For splitting analysis using local S waves, we obtained a total of 384 pairs of Quality A or B splitting parameters from 211 events.
The three-component waveforms are stored with a sampling rate of 20 Hz. Local S time window used to compute the splitting parameters was initially set between A(AMARKER) and F(FMARKER). The receiver function data with sampling rate of 20 Hz were cut within the time window. A bandpass filter of 1.25-12.5 seconds was applied.
The three-component waveforms files are stored in the directories as: ~/LocalS/EQYYDDDHHMM/station.z (e.g., ~/LocalS/EQ161741303/N12xxx_UM.z). For receiver functions analysis at stations M21, the receiver functions files are stored in the directories as: ~/RFs_M21/stationYYDDDHHMM.eqr (e.g., ~/RFs_M21/M21xxx_MM161782257.eqr). All splitting measurements are stored within the “SplittingMeasurements” folder.
To easily view the splitting measurements, simply open the webpage named "index.html".

Type *.z, *.n, *.e components for shear wave splitting analysis and *.eqr for P-RFs are stored in SAC format. Necessary information, such as locations of the station (STLA: latitude; STLO: longitude) and earthquake (EVLA, EVLO, EVDP), sampling rate (DELTA), number of sampling points (NTPS), has been stored in the head list of each file.
Format SAC format can be read directly using SAC, ObsPy, MATLAB, et al.
