Title Ambient Noise Cross-Correlation Analysis Data for Crustal and Uppermost Mantle Structure Investigation in Central Myanmar and Southeastern Tibet
Creator Yining Tian
Subject Ambient noise cross-correlations

Description By aiming at the intricate tectonic dynamics south and southeast of the Eastern Himalayan Syntaxis, we integrate seismic data from new broadband stations in central Myanmar with permanent stations in southeastern Tibet to establish a high-resolution 3-D Vs model through ambient noise surface wave tomography. In central Myanmar, we collected the data from 46 temporary broadband stations of the CMGSMO I (1st phase of China-Myanmar Geophysical Survey on Myanmar Orogeny) array, and 6 permanent stations of Myanmar National Seismic Network. In SE Tibet, we collected the data from 52 permanent seismic stations of the China Digital Seismic Network. In summary, we analyzed 1.5 years of continuous seismic data, from June 2016 to January 2018, collected from 104 broadband stations.
