Title P- and S-Wave Velocity Models of Southeastern Iran: Data from a Broadband Seismic Array
Creator Haiqiang Lan
Subject Southeastern Iran, Mantle velocity model
Publisher Xiukuan Zhao
Description We use data collected by a recently deployed broadband seismic array to study lithospheric and upper mantle structure beneath southeastern Iran. We perform finite-frequency traveltime tomography. The inversion results of the P- and S-wave velocity models are present here. Model files are finally stored in the directories as:
./Model/dvp.dat and ./Model/dvs.dat

Date 18th September 2024
Type The velocity model is three-dimensional, covering a range from 55°E to 61°E longitude, 25°N to 31°N latitude, and depths from 80 km to 520 km below the surface. The grid spacing for longitude and latitude is 0.1°, and the depth spacing is 40 km. The velocity model data consists of four columns: longitude, latitude, depth, and velocity anomalies.
