Title Observation data of a Long-Lived Optical Meteor Producing Low Mesosphere Echo: Trajectory, Fragmentation and Spectroscopy
Creator Yi Li
Subject Meteoroid, orbit, fragmentation, spectra, non-field-aligned plasma irregularities
Publisher Xiukuan Zhao
Description The Meteor and ionospheric Irregularity Observation System at Ledong and Sanya was employed to acquire both optical and radar observations of meteor M20221224_183010. Optical trajectories were captured by Ledong cameras 1, 5, 6, and 9 and Sanya cameras 4, 6, and 13, while spectral data were recorded by Ledong cameras 4, 8, and 16. The phased‑array radar subsystem also detected the resulting plasma column. In the radar files, ‘UTime’ denotes the timestamp, ‘SignalI’ and ‘SignalQ’ the in‑phase and quadrature signal components, ‘Rangekm’ the range (km), ‘pulsereptfreq’ the pulse repetition frequency, and ‘numberofcinteg’ the number of coherent integrations.
