Title Seismic attenuation tomography data for lithosphere structure investigation in Central Myanmar
Creator Yilin Feng
Subject seismic event waveforms, seismic attenuation tomography

Description To investigate the regional tectonics, thermal characteristics and dynamic evolution beneath the Indo-Burma Subduction Zone, we use the coda-normalized method to image the three-dimensional attenuation structure of the lithosphere in the Indo-Burma Subduction Zone. This study utilized seismic data collected from 70 broadband stations deployed during the first phase of the China-Myanmar Geophysical Survey in the Myanmar Orogen (CMGSMO) project between June 2016 and January 2018. A three-second window prior to the P-wave arrival was used to calculate the noise spectrum, a three-second window following the S-wave arrival was used for the signal spectrum and the coda wave signal spectrum beginning at twice the S-wave arrival time was employed to perform local earthquake attenuation tomography. The compressed file contains three-component waveform data of the seismic events used in this study.
