Description |
Wuhan (30.5°N, 114.5°E; magnetic latitude 19.3°N) is located in central China. From the perspective of aeronomy, it lies near the northern crest of the Equatorial Ionization Anomaly (EIA) and within the transition region between diurnal and semidiurnal tides. Wuhan hosts the oldest and longest-running ionosonde observations in China, with continuous operations beginning around August 1946. In this dataset, we have collected foF2 data from 1947 to 2024. |
