Title Acoustic-to-Seismic Coupling waves generated by the 2020 Nangqian Fireball: High-Precision Trajectory Tracing and Meteoroid's Diameter
Creator Jinlai Hao
Subject Seismic waveform data
Publisher Xiukuan Zhao
Description Broadband seismic data used in this study were collected from the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). Specifically, three types of seismic waveforms were utilized, as detailed below:
(1) High-pass filtered waveforms derived from ten vertical-component raw records, with a cut-off frequency of 2.0 Hz. The arrival times of direct airwaves extracted from these waveforms were employed to reconstruct the meteoroid’s trajectory. Additionally, the amplitudes of these filtered waveforms were normalized by their respective maximum peak amplitudes.
(2) High-pass filtered waveforms of vertical-component velocity records from two seismic stations (ZHQ and BYKL), applying the same cut-off frequency of 2.0 Hz as specified in (1).
(3) Envelopes of three-component seismic waveforms acquired from two additional stations (NAQ and DOB).

Type There are three files named “hp_10sta.bhz.txt”, “hp_2sta.bhz.txt”, and “envelope_2sta.txt” corresponding to the three types of data in Description. The left and right lines are the time and amplitude in each file, respectively. UTC 23:22:00 on 22nd December 2020 is set to “0”. The station and component name is labeled above each time series.
