| Description |
To investigate the mechanical response to oblique subduction along the eastern margin of the Indian plate, we derived a shear-wave velocity structure of the crust and upper mantle beneath central and southern Myanmar. The analysis was based on three-component seismograms from teleseismic events with magnitude greater than 5.8 and epicentral distances between 30° and 90°. The data were recorded from June 2016 to December 2021 by 57 broadband stations belonging to two newly deployed arrays of the China-Myanmar Geophysical Survey in the Myanmar Orogen project (CMGSMO I and II), and are archived in a zip file. |
