Description This study investigates the crust–mantle magma plumbing system and deep dynamic mechanisms of the Datong Volcanic Field (DVF) by inverting magnetotelluric (MT) array data using the ModEM code. The “./Coordinates” directory contains a file with the coordinates for the 264 MT stations. The files in the “./DVF_ModEM_inv_model” directory contain the output of the ModEM inversion after 491 iterations, which can be visualized using public tools, such as the code available at https://github.com/dong-hao/EM3DVP.
